Fred Bremer, arrested last night [Jan. 2, 1918] by Deputy Sheriff R. H. Soule and R. H. Wootton, was arraigned in municipal court this morning [Jan. 3, 1918] on the charge of bootlegging. He entered a plea of not guilty and his bond was fixed in the sum of $500, pending trial Wednesday, January 9 . Bremer is interested in an Ogden garage.
County Attorney Farr, in asking for a $500 bond, advised the court "that the case is important," but neither the arresting officers nor the attorneys stated in what particular.
