FRED BREMER PLEADS GUILTY TO PETIT LARCENY

Fred W. Bremer pleaded guilty this morning [Apr. 21, 1917] in the municipal court, to a charge of petit larceny, and his case was taken under advisement by Judge Barker. In the complaint, the defendant was accused of having stolen an automobile tire, inner tube and rim and a suitcase and contents, the loot being only a portion of a large quantity of alleged stolen goods found in a shed at the rear of the Bremer home. Though much of this has been identified, the value of the property of each individual owner was not sufficient to admit of a felony charge being placed against the alleged thief. Bremer was arrested by Detective J. L. Hobson.
