TWO BAD BOYS FOR INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL

FRED BRAMER AND OTTO BLAIR MUST ANSWER FOR OFFENSE COMMITTED.

Other Lads Are Discharged as They Were Involved Only Through Association With the Others.

Detective Pender will this afternoon [Dec. 23, 1903] swear to a complaint against Fred Bramer and Otto Blair two of the young boys who were ar[r]ested for being implicated in breaking into and robbing the Donaldson Candy Store. The boys will probably be sent to the State Industrial School as they have been implicated in a number of other offenses of as serious a nature.

The Mickelweight and Smith boys were allowed to go as it was found that they had never been implicated in any of the offenses and had become involved in that affair simply because they had associated for a short time with the others and the Bramer boy had in his confession brought them into it.
